Deore & Freond began with a single introduction, arranged for a family who had spent two years looking for the right companion and had found only noise. What they wanted was not the rarest dog in the world, but the right one — and someone they could trust to tell the difference. That is still the whole of what we do.

Our network of breeders, veterinarians and logistics partners now spans four continents. Every lineage is documented, every temperament assessed, and every journey arranged so that nothing is left to chance. We decline more enquiries than we accept, and we are comfortable doing so.

What has not changed is the pace. We take on a deliberately small number of families each year, because the work — listening, screening, waiting for the right pairing — cannot be hurried without being diminished. Discretion is not a service we offer; it is simply how the practice is run.
